Investment in machinery and skills
At the heart of Pascoe Engineerings success is our strong policy of re-investment which has helped the company grow steadily through two recessions. Our working directors and shareholders are keenly aware that continuous investment is vital to stay competitive in this area of business, and a large portion of the companys profits are ploughed back each year into both new machinery and the development of skills.
People
Finlay Patterson:
Pascoe Engineering Ltd. was originally founded in the early 1970s by Finlay Patterson under the name Pascoe Tool and Engraving Ltd. Initially, the company specialised in the production of high-quality golf club tools using the "lost wax process". Thanks to Finlays expertise in this area the company quickly attracted many of the major golf club manufacturers.
In 1984 Bob Smith joined the company and it was decided to invest in the latest CNC machine tools. Bobs expertise in this area soon made itself apparent and three years later it was decided to change the companys name to Pascoe Engineering Ltd.
Pascoe Engineering has continued to invest in top-quality personnel and the latest technology and the company now has a turnover of over £1.4 million.
